3. Use of Google Analytics, consent to data transfer
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address, which is anonymized using the _anonymizeIp() method so that it can no longer be assigned to a connection) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for us, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if such third parties process the data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
You can object to the collection of data by Google Analytics with effect for the future by installing the opt-out browser add-on available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
For more information about terms of use and data protection, please visit: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/gb/ or https://marketingplatform.google.com/intl/en_uk/about/
4. Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to display interactive maps and create directions. Google Maps is a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA.
By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (starting) address entered as part of the route planner function, can be transmitted to Google in the USA.
When you access a webpage of our website that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. The map content is transmitted directly to your browser by Google and integrated into the website. Therefore, we have no influence on the scope of the data collected by Google in this way. According to our knowledge, this includes at least:
- Date and time of the visit to the relevant webpage
- Internet address or URL of the accessed webpage IP address
- (Starting) address entered as part of route planning
We have no influence on the further processing and use of the data by Google and therefore cannot accept responsibility. If you do not want Google to collect, process, or use data about you via our website, you can disable JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you cannot use the map display.
Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for information on the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your rights and settings to protect your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google Maps route planner in the manner and for the purposes described above.
5. Use of Adobe Typekit
We use Adobe Typekit for the visual design of our website. Typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. that gives us access to a font library. To integrate the fonts we use, your browser must connect to an Adobe server in the USA and download the required font. Adobe thereby receives the information that our website was accessed from your IP address. For more information on Adobe Typekit, please see Adobe’s privacy policy: www.adobe.com/privacy/typekit.html.
6. Use of JavaScript libraries
Active components such as JavaScript, Java applets, or Active-X controls are used. You can disable these functions in your browser settings.
7. Use of social media plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Google Plus, Instagram, YouTube. We use the so-called 2-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of these plug-ins. The providers are recognizable by their respective logos.
Only when you click on one of the plug-ins will personal data be transmitted. By activating the plug-in, data is automatically transferred to the respective provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the USA). We have no influence on the data collected and data processing, nor do we know the full scope, purposes, or storage periods.
If you activate a plug-in, the provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our online offering. In addition, the data listed under 1.3.1 of this statement will be transmitted. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP is collected in Germany. This occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the provider or are logged in. If you are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account.
If you press the activated button (e.g., share the page), the provider also stores this information and may share it with your contacts. If you do not want this assignment to your profile, you must log out before clicking.
The provider stores this data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or tailored website design. This evaluation is also carried out for non-logged-in users. You have the right to object to the creation of these profiles – please contact the respective provider directly.
Further information on the purpose, scope, and processing of the data as well as your rights can be found in the providers’ privacy policies:
- Facebook Inc., http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
- Google Inc., https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/?hl=en

8. Newsletter
We offer you a free newsletter to keep you informed about offers, new products, promotions, events, or company news. We require your email address for this. You only receive the newsletter if you explicitly register on our website – also as part of the ordering process. After registering, you will receive an email for confirmation (double opt-in). Only with this confirmation is the registration complete. If no confirmation is received within 24 hours, the registration is deleted.
If you register only for the newsletter, we will use your email address exclusively for this purpose. We store it until you unsubscribe. Storage is solely for sending the newsletter. Additionally, we store IP addresses and timestamps at registration and confirmation to prevent misuse. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and revoke your consent – via the link in every email, by email to info(at)ohropax.de, or by message to the address stated in the legal notice.
9. Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel on our website, an analysis tool from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. This allows Meta to define visitors to our website as a target group for personalized advertising (“Facebook Ads”, “Instagram Ads”).
We use the pixel to show ads specifically to users who have shown interest in our offering or who meet certain characteristics (e.g., interests) – so-called custom audiences. We can also measure the effectiveness of advertising (conversion tracking).
Legal basis:
Use of the Meta Pixel is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
Data transfer to third countries:
Data transfer to the USA cannot be excluded. Meta is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures adequate protection.
Withdrawal of your consent:
You can withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings.
More information on data processing by Meta: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
10. TikTok Pixel
We use the TikTok Pixel on our website, an analysis tool of the social network TikTok (EU provider: TikTok Technology Limited, Dublin, Ireland).
With the TikTok Pixel, we can track the behavior of users who reached our website via a TikTok ad. This allows us to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of our TikTok campaigns.
Once you consent to cookies requiring approval, a connection is established between your device and TikTok’s servers. TikTok receives your IP address, device information, the website visited, timestamps, and – if you have a TikTok account and are logged in – an assignment to your profile. Data processing is carried out by TikTok under its own responsibility.
We ourselves do not receive personal data, only aggregated analyses of user behavior that help us evaluate ad performance.
Use of the TikTok Pixel is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via cookie settings.
