Original OHROPAX Classic ear plugs protect your ears from sound and irritating noises. Ideal for sleep, relaxation, wellbeing and meditation. Also recommended for concentrated work, DIY and loud music. OHROPAX Classic also protects your ears from water and wind.
OHROPAX Classic has been an established noise protection product since 1907. The unique formulation – cotton wool soaked in a mixture of Vaseline and paraffin wax – was so perfect right from the outset that it has remained practically unchanged up until the present day.
The ingredients are gentle to the skin and hypoallergenic. The ear plugs can also be ideally adjusted to fit every auditory canal and considerably reduce the effects of noise pollution. The wearing comfort is excellent as no sensation of pressure occurs in the ear. The snug material adheres well to the skin and enables secure positioning. The flesh-colored ear plugs look discreet when worn.

Simple to use
1. Before use, completely remove cotton wool with clean fingers. If needed, reduce the size of the ear plug by tearing-off a small amount of material.
2. Discard torn-off material! Mould plug to soften and shape into a coherent ball. Place the ball over the auditory canal and flatten firmly. Do not insert deeply or use too small a piece.
3. To remove the ear plug, press upward behind the ear to loosen. Then remove plug with fingers. Never use hard or pointed objects to aid removal.
Before using to protect ears from high noise levels, they should first be checked for suitability. Take into account the sound attenuation values and the safety precautions (refer to them).
In leisure time
Due to its high wearing comfort, OHROPAX Classic is also ideal for sleep, relaxation, wellbeing and meditation. Also recommended for concentrated work, DIY and loud music.
Use in the workplace
Here OHROPAX Classic can be used in a variety of
ways. OHROPAX Classic is particularly suitable for “non-classic noise areas”, such as large offices and computer centres (noise level <75 dB(A)).

• Once in the ear, OHROPAX Classic is immediately ready for use. In contrast to foam ear plugs, there are no expansion times.
• No sweating and no pressure on the auricle like capsule ear protectors.
• No wearing problems for glasses wearers.
• Can be combined with protective helmets, protective goggles and capsule hearing protectors.
• Speech and warning signals can still be heard. The sound is softened but not completely shut out.
N.B.
Because of its material, OHROPAX Classic is not suitable for use in warm, dirty or dusty workplaces. As it cannot be cleaned, it is recommended that OHROPAX Classic be used only once.
Tolerability
OHROPAX Classic is classed as highly tolerable. It does not contain any known components which are prone to triggering allergies. Sometimes you first have to grow accustomed to hearing protection. We recommend you gradually increase the wearing duration. In rare cases, you can initially hear your own pulse. This effect normally goes away after a brief period of acclimatisation.
