OHROPAX Multi has high sound attenuation values across the entire frequency range.

Checking the suitability of an ear plug:
1.
Determine the level (dB) of the sound at the respective frequency (e.g. based on appliance documents).
2. Subtract the APV (assumed protection value) from it.
3. The remaining value should be less than 85 dB. To simplify, you can also perform the calculation with the following (approximate) mean values:
• SNR (Single Number Rating, general attenuation)
• H (high, for high frequencies)
• M (medium, for medium frequencies)
• L (low, for low frequencies)
Example: At a frequency of 1000 Hz, an appliance generates a sound level of 100 dB. OHROPAX Multi softens the sound at this frequency by 25.8 dB (APV). The remaining noise pollution is 74.2 dB. OHROPAX Multi is suitable because the value is less than 85 dB.
